Cats of Crete

If you’re wondering why I haven’t posted for a while, it’s because I’ve been on holiday in Crete.  I took a break from blogging and from training, a chance to properly unwind.  When on holiday I met a number of stray, un-neutered cats at my hotel.  This blog post is about them, but also some advice for tourists generally on helping stray cats. Glasgow Kiltwalk – a Mighty Stride

So hot on the heals of running the Great Edinburgh Run last weekend, today I walked the 23 mile Glasgow Kiltwalk (http://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk) with my husband Paul.  It took us 6 hours and 2 minutes to complete the route, which runs from Glasgow Green through to Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond.  Despite the training we’ve both been putting in we’re both feeling pretty sore now! Great Edinburgh Run – Running for Cats

I have a number of challenges that I’m taking part in for Cats Protection in April, which means that my blog has turned more into a running/ walking blog than originally intended.  Never fear – normal service will resume shortly with more on Rory’s thoughts, Mac’s guides and crafting cat stuff.  The main purpose of all of this was always to raise awareness of the work that Cats Protection do, help raise some money for them and let you keep track of all of the things that I am doing.
