So hot on the heals of running the Great Edinburgh Run last weekend, today I walked the 23 mile Glasgow Kiltwalk (http://www.thekiltwalk.co.uk) with my husband Paul. It took us 6 hours and 2 minutes to complete the route, which runs from Glasgow Green through to Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. Great Edinburgh Run – Running for Cats
I have a number of challenges that I’m taking part in for Cats Protection in April, which means that my blog has turned more into a running/ walking blog than originally intended. Never fear – normal service will resume shortly with more on Rory’s thoughts, Mac’s guides and crafting cat stuff. The main purpose of all of this was always to raise awareness of the work that Cats Protection do, help raise some money for them and let you keep track of all of the things that I am doing. This week is Cats Protection #BigCatWeek. As part of this they have launched a very exciting opportunity for some adventurous cat fans to fundraise and go on a five day Himalayan trek and spend three days at a tiger conservation project in India in October 2018. Continue reading
